Nurse Manager

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (with some flexibility). This role carries a Clinical On-Call rotation; as well as a rotational Manager on Duty 2-3 times a year.

 

The Difference You’ll Make

A Nurse Manager at Saint Therese, you will be responsible for managing an effective resident care process that ensures quality care for each resident and provides ongoing customer service to families and staff. You will guide staff in compliance with government regulations. As a Nurse Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the clinical management of the residents and the human resource management of the staff by supervising Licensed Nurses and Nursing Assistants.

-Implement a plan of care for each resident assigned.

-Assure that the integrity of the nursing practice of the nurses under your supervision is following standards.

-Maintain open lines of communication with residents, staff, families, volunteers and visitors.

-Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services

 

Pay Range: $86,756 – $117,728 per year, depending on experience

Qualifications Required:

-Current licensure as Registered Nurse with the Minnesota State Board of Nurse Examiners and with no restrictions

-5+ years’ experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or similar facility

-Demonstrated working knowledge of nursing department functions with special emphasis on compliance with Federal and State regulations.

-Knowledge of the scope of the Minnesota Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act.

-Demonstrated abilities to lead, coach and supervisor others.

-Effective time management/prioritization and problem solving skills.

-Ability to positively manage and communicate change and to model appropriate behaviors to staff and others.

 

Preferred Experience:

-Certification as a Geriatric Nurse
