  • Hours coordinated around your class schedule — typically 8–12 hours per week

Who We Are Looking For

  • College student in CS, Engineering, or a STEM field — or any major with strong coding experience
  • Comfortable with one or more: Scratch, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Unity, or similar
  • Good with kids and parents — patient, energetic, and clear communicator
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Must have access to a car and ability to commute to Chatham, NJ year-round
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Unreal Engine, Construct 3, or VEX robotics
  • Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience
  • Leadership in a STEAM club or student org

  • $17–$19/hour to start, with growth potential
  • Flexible schedule around your college classes
  • STEM.org instructor certification
  • Resume-worthy classroom leadership experience
  • Mentorship from the campus director
  • Real path to lead instructor and longer-term roles
