InStride Staffing Agency is partnering with a well-established, full-service architecture, engineering, and field services consulting firm with a strong project portfolio throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our client delivers professional services across five major markets: architecture, land development, water resources, transportation, and energy. We are seeking entry level Civil Staff Engineers to join their team at their Charleston & Bridgeport, WV offices.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to join a collaborative, fast-paced team where professional growth is a priority and not an afterthought.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of engineering solutions
- Support senior engineers in project planning and execution
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
- Conduct research and analysis to solve engineering challenges
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 0-3 years of relevant experience (new grads encouraged to apply!)
- EI/EIT certification is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D is a bonus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communicator who thrives in a team environment
- Ability to participate in periodic day travel
