Program Account Fellow
Position/Title: Program Account Fellow
Reports To: President
Position Summary:
Catholic Community Connection (CCC) is a collaborative organization of Catholic health care, senior living,
education and social service ministries in the Diocese of Cleveland. The Program Accountant performs accounting
and financial functions for CCC while providing program assistance support for organizations within the Diocese of
Cleveland.
Primary Duties:
Functions as a financial resource to the President
Maintain financial records, ensure invoices and other bills are reviewed, sent and paid; this includes the
accurate and timely processing of all cash/credit card statements
Accurately processes daily and monthly major account receivables/invoices through data entry using MIP an online invoice tracking system
Prepare Client Paid file, assist with entering data and track monthly receivable report
Code checks for CCC and the Finance Department following established internal procedures
Review and prepare sheet with major account invoice discrepancies and follow up accordingly
Prepare communications for major account, ensuring accuracy and adherence to CCC guidelines
Provide customer support to affiliated organizations, addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction
Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, and quality assurance and safety standards
Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications /General Requirements:
Ability to understand and support the mission of Catholic Community Connection
Bachelor’s degree with a business major in accounting (or earning degree)
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and other standard computer programs
Knowledge and proficiency in web-based accounting system (MIP or similar) a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Meet deadlines on a consistent basis with accuracy and attention to detail
Professional attitude and work ethics
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to prioritize
Ability to work collaboratively, and work with other staff members, internal and external matrix partners
