Content Creator & Community Lead

The Role

You are the voice and face of Huxley.

 

You’ll generate the content, star in it, ship it, and build the community around it. TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn — all yours. You’ll seed creators, attend events, reply to DMs, write captions that earn the stop-scroll, and turn every product moment into a piece of content.

 

We’ll teach you analytics if you need. We’ll build process around you. What we can’t teach is the instinct to want to be the voice of a brand you love. If you have that, this seat is yours to build.

What Youll Do

  • Be the on-camera face of Huxley. Reels, TikToks, BTS, founder interviews, day-in-the-life, taste tests. You in front of the lens every single week.
  • Generate the ideas. Hooks, formats, series, campaigns. You’re the creative engine, not the executor of someone else’s brief.
  • Film, edit, ship. End-to-end ownership of every piece. You write the captions and you press post.
  • Build the TikTok flywheel. Seed creators with product, find the ones who perform, deepen relationships that work. Run our creator and affiliate program from scratch.
  • Be the voice in DMs and comments. Make a customer feel like Huxley is a friend.
  • Show up at events. Activations, demos, industry events. Turn every one into content.
  • Spearhead the weekly social plan. Lead the team huddle on what’s shipping that week.
  • Watch whats working. We’ll teach you our analytics. The instinct of "this isn’t landing, let’s try X" has to come from you.

 

Who You Are

  • A natural on camera. You engage, you don’t perform.
  • A creator first. Your personal social already proves you do this for fun.
  • Obsessed with brands. You can name three brands whose social you study, and exactly why.
  • A short-form video editor. CapCut, Premiere, wherever you do your best work.
  • A sharp copywriter. You can write a caption that earns the stop-scroll.
  • Trend-fluent. You see what’s coming before it peaks and know which trends fit Huxley’s voice.
  • Self-starting DNA. You don’t wait for the brief. You see the gap and fill it.
  • A system-builder by instinct. We don’t have a content calendar yet. You’ll build one. We don’t have a creator program yet. You’ll start one.
  • Energized by startup pace. Building something from scratch is what gets you out of bed.
  • Playing the long game. The story you want to tell five years from now is "I built this brand," not "I held this title."

 

Nice to Have

  • TikTok Shop and TikTok Live experience
  • Experience working with influencers and affiliates
  • Design fluency (Figma, Canva, Adobe)
  • Track record of taking a social account from under 5k to over 100k followers

 

Location & Travel

Remote, anywhere in the continental US with access to major chains Huxley is sold in for in-store content. 10–20% travel for events, demos, and retailer activations.

 

Compensation & Perks

  • Base salary: $50,000–$75,000, depending on experience
  • Quarterly performance bonus tied to measurable growth and revenue KPIs (more upside the more you grow the brand)

  • Phase 2 — Content Challenge. We’ll send you a Huxley sample pack. Make and submit two original short-form videos starring you that have the potential to go viral. Show us what you’ve got.
  • Phase 3 — Team Interview. Meet the team. Talk shop.
