Remote Student Assistant (must be enrolled in a fully online program)

We are seeking a fully online student to join our team as a Remote Student Assistant to support online resources for faculty and students. This includes tasks such as creating and recording Brightspace tutorials and other materials to help users navigate our online learning platforms. Candidates must be comfortable using MS Teams for communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in a fully online program.
  • Comfortable with Brightspace.
  • Proficient in MS Teams.
  • Strong communication and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

To be considered, applicants must submit a resume and a cover letter via Handshake. Your cover letter must clearly state the fully online program you are enrolled in. Resumes submitted without this information in the cover letter will not be reviewed.

All University of Akron student employees must meet the designated minimum standards as stated on the Student Employment Eligibility Chart. UA student employees must be 18 years or older at the time of their start date. Any approved remote work conducted by student employees MUST be performed within the state of Ohio.
