Job Description: Under the direction of a supervisor in a State department or agency, participate in the review and administration of various contracts and/or grants; provides technical assistance in the areas of contract and/or grant preparation, monitoring and/or evaluation; receives on the job training in analytic practices/procedures and application and research and preparation of reports, completes assignments which will provide practical analyst experience and/or learns to review and analyze financial reports; does other related work.

Requirements: Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:  Strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively, time management, research skills, organized, and Microsoft Office computer knowledge with a strong emphasis on Excel. Prior experience with SAGE or other grant management programs a plus.

EDUCATION: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

RESIDENCY: In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (NJ PL 70), the New Jersey First Act, all employees must reside in the State of New Jersey (NJ), unless exempted under the law. If you do not live in NJ, you have (1) year after you begin employment to relocate your residence to NJ.

TELEWORK: This position may be eligible to participate in the Department's Telework Program, which offers eligible employees the opportunity to work remotely for up to two (2) days per week, as approved by management.
