A growing technology team supporting NASA is looking for an experienced SAP Business Analyst to help modernize mission-critical enterprise systems used across the agency. This role sits at the intersection of SAP transformation, business process optimization, and large-scale federal modernization initiatives.

You’ll help drive S/4HANA transformation efforts, improve business workflows, and support modernization initiatives tied directly to NASA operations.

What You’ll Work On

SAP Transformation & Modernization

• Support enterprise-wide SAP modernization and S/4HANA transformation initiatives
• Analyze current-state (“As Is”) and future-state (“To Be”) business processes
• Identify process gaps, optimization opportunities, and remediation strategies
• Evaluate SAP Simplification Items and assess impacts to NASA business operations
• Help modernize integrations, APIs, and interfacing systems

Business Analysis & Process Design

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Develop process maps, workflows, SOPs, and end-user documentation
• Support testing cycles and validate end-to-end functional behavior
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and security teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Assist with change management, adoption, and user enablement efforts

Federal & Financial Systems Alignment

• Support compliance with federal financial standards and reporting frameworks including:
  • USSGL
  • IPAC
  • GTAS
  • Treasury reporting standards

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 8+ years of SAP experience in a Public Sector environment
• Strong background in SAP Security and enterprise SAP ecosystems
• Experience supporting SAP modernization or transformation initiatives
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust background investigation
• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Software Engineering
  • Information Management Systems
  • Or related field
    (Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.)

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting NASA programs or federal agencies
• Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology
• Experience with S/4HANA migrations or modernization initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
