About the Step-Up Alternative Education Program
This unique program partners with multiple Greater Cincinnati public schools to provide an alternative education program for students who have been unable to succeed in a typical classroom setting. Stepping outside of their home district, students of Step Up continue their studies at our 23-acre Given Road Campus in Indian Hill.
Utilizing our non-traditional education setting, Step-Up students receive the tools they need to successfully navigate academic studies, learn self-regulation skills, develop vocational skills through authentic experiences to enable them to transition into adulthood and more fully participate in their community. The Step-Up program operates 3-4 classrooms of up to seven students each, with most students utilizing 1:1 aides along with classroom teachers to engage in academic, communication, and functional living skill instruction.
