Product Data Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Data Assistant to join our team at JONATHAN Y. This role ensures all product data, images, and specifications are accurate, consistent, and ready for use across marketing, sales, and customer service channels. The ideal candidate will work closely with factories, internal and external teams to ensure each new and existing items are properly documented and ready for launch.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist to prepare detailed master specification templates for new product categories.
- Support communication with vendors to ensure all specs are filled accurately for newly finalized products and verify that all information is complete and consistent with product images and internal data.
- Assist in collecting and maintaining required documentation or certifications from vendors
- Help verify product images and specifications are available prior to initiating the copywriting process.
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding missing or incorrect product information.
- Assist in communicating quality issues to QC teams and follow up on feedback or resolution reports.
- Support the scheduling of bulk production shipments.
- Coordinate with team to generate new SKUs, internal IDs, and UPC codes.
- Maintain and update content management files.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Product Development or related field preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
