Territory Sales Engineer

Job Overview
CM Furnaces is a privately owned company with an 80-year track record of producing top of the line, high performance laboratory and production furnaces for serious scientific research and batch and continuous furnaces for production work. By keeping all manufacturing and design in the USA we ensure tight quality control and keep our focus on the technical performance and quality of our furnaces.
Duties
- Sales and support for all CM Furnaces products and services for the Middle Atlantic states.
- Visit customers, provide proposals, and handle all aspects of the sales cycle.
- Approximately 50% travel.
- Develop and execute territory management plans that align with company goals, including analyzing market trends and customer feedback.
- Pre and post sales engineering and consultative sales support.
- Compile and translate complex business and technical requirements into customized solutions that are comprehensive and address customer's manufacturing needs and processes.
- Work closely and collaboratively with our engineers and provide technical input in qualify and close customer opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background.
- Bachelors degree in Ceramics Engineering or Material Science and Engineering.
- Exemplary college transcript.
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales environments, especially involving technical products or solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for product discussions, negotiations, and building lasting client relationships.
- Ability to perform detailed analysis of market data and customer needs to tailor sales strategies accordingly.
