Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with state standards.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe, quality, and productive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate enthusiastically with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Demonstrate regular, reliable attendance as an essential duty to ensure instructional continuity for our students.
- Maintain a growth mindset, with a continuous willingness to learn new educational skills and acquire new knowledge.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Teaching (K-12).
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an Elementary Education endorsement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience at the elementary school level is highly preferred.
- Strong foundational skills in classroom management and student engagement.
