About the Role

Larson Elementary School is seeking an energetic, professional, and dedicated Fourth Grade Teacher to join our close-knit school family. The ideal candidate is someone passionate about elementary education, committed to fostering a positive classroom culture, and eager to grow alongside a supportive team of educators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with state standards.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe, quality, and productive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate enthusiastically with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
  • Demonstrate regular, reliable attendance as an essential duty to ensure instructional continuity for our students.
  • Maintain a growth mindset, with a continuous willingness to learn new educational skills and acquire new knowledge.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Teaching (K-12).
  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an Elementary Education endorsement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior teaching experience at the elementary school level is highly preferred.
  • Strong foundational skills in classroom management and student engagement.
