Moldmaker

We are seeking a skilled and motivated moldmaker to join our team. The ideal candidate has a relevant education background, is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative, high performance environment. There is growth potential with this role, and we welcome candidates looking to learn and expand upon their current skillset.

We specialize in producing high complexity, precision, thermoplastic molds for customers in the medical device, communications, automotive industries.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build, repair and maintain precision molds
• Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues

Essential Skills:

• Programming (MasterCAM)
• CNC machining knowledge and shop math proficiency
• Surface grinding, milling, EDM, and benching experience
• Precision measurement and inspection (micrometers, indicators, etc.)
• Knowledge of tool steels, heat treat, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship mindset
