OFIC Donor Profile Project
OFIC Donor Profile Project
This internship will support a project with OFIC’s Development Team. As a non-profit organization,
OFIC depends on annual donations from corporations, foundations, and individuals to support our
work. One key to success in fundraising is shared passion for our mission: connecting donors and
partners with students in need, positively impacting Ohio’s economic engine. Most of the money that
we raise is for student scholarships which we distribute to OFIC’s 30 campuses around the state. We
would like our student scholarship recipients to know more about the companies, foundations and
individuals that are making their scholarships possible.
Responsibilities
• Create and design a one-page Word template that can be utilized to create Scholarship Donor
Information sheets for all of our donors.
• Begin online research on OFIC scholarship donors including corporate websites, the OFIC
database, news articles, and other resources including consideration of AI tools. OFIC uses Microsoft
Co-Pilot as our AI resource.
• Create half-page donor information sheets to include information such as a summary about the
company/family/individual, what they do, how long they have been supporting OFIC, why they
support OFIC, is there an OFIC Trustee at company, and intern or job opportunities. We should also
include the donor contact name, and how they are related to the company/family.
