Contracted Student Interns – Acton Site Office | Department of Mental Health (DMH)
As the state’s mental health agency, we handle a large volume of sensitive client records. In order to improve the efficiency, security and accessibility of these records, we are requesting the design and implementation of a dedicated medical records room within our site office.
Objectives:
· Create a secure, organized space for storing client records
· Develop a systemic categorization and labeling system for efficient retrieval
· Implement a record access tracking system to log who accesses records and when, ensuring full compliance of privacy standards
Scope of Work:
· Assess current record volume and office layout
· Design the layout of the medical records room to maximize space and efficiency
· Specify shelving, filing systems and labeling methods
· Implement a digital or hybrid record access tracking system
· Ensure design meets HIPPA compliance

Given the population served, bilingual or multilingual fluency.

Additional Information:
Benefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals.
All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit.
The salary for this position is $19.00 per hour.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Days Off: Saturday and Sunday
