Special Projects Intern
Job Title: Intern (Special Projects, Programs, and Marketing)

Status: Paid Internship ($19-$25/hour – 30 Hours/Week)
Reports to: SVP, Corporate Strategy and Development
A Washington, DC–based nonprofit organization is seeking an Intern to support special projects, program operations, administrative coordination, and marketing initiatives. This role is well-suited for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with an interest in nonprofit management, external partnerships, events, communications, and strategic initiatives.
The Intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to advance priority projects, support day-to-day operations, and contribute to the execution of programs and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
· Support special projects through research, material preparation, action item tracking, and overall coordination
· Provide administrative support, including scheduling, document preparation, meeting logistics, note-taking, website updates, and follow-up tracking
· Assist with program operations, including event planning, participant communications, outreach, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
· Contribute to marketing and communications efforts by drafting content, supporting social media, updating materials, and organizing digital assets
· Prepare briefing materials, presentations, spreadsheets, and other internal documents
· Conduct research on partners, sponsors, programs, and strategic opportunities
· Maintain databases, organize files, and provide general operational support as needed
· Support cross-functional initiatives aligned with National ACE priorities and external engagement efforts
