The Massachusetts Executive Office of Aging & Independence (AGE) is seeking an American Connection Corps (ACC) AmeriCorps Member to serve in Boston for the 2026–27 program year. 

 

ACC, an AmeriCorps program of Lead For America, is a service fellowship program that helps communities build the digital connectivity needed to expand opportunity and economic mobility. 

 

In this role, the selected Member will support statewide digital inclusion and community engagement initiatives focused on expanding access to technology, digital skills, and community resources for older adults and other historically underserved populations. The Member will collaborate with community organizations, local aging services providers, and state partners to support projects, outreach, and resource development that strengthen digital opportunity and advance equitable access across Massachusetts. 

 

This full-time service opportunity (September 2026–August 2027) includes a $33,000 living allowance, a $7,395 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award, training, and paid travel to two national convenings. 

 

AGE is looking for someone with a strong connection to Massachusetts communities and an interest in public service, digital inclusion, and community impact. 

 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

As an ACC Member serving with AGE, you will: 

Serve full-time from September 2026 to August 2027, gaining hands-on experience and on-the-job training 

Receive a $33,000 living allowance and a $7,395 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award 

Participate in virtual and in-person training, professional development, and paid travel to two week-long national ACC convenings
