Data Anaylst Intern
Position Summary
accelHRate’s Data Analyst Intern role is for a college student that is looking for an opportunity to work for a successful boutique executive search firm headquartered in Northern VA. The Data Analyst Intern will demonstrate understanding and expertise in researching, classifying and managing large data sets. This role requires a blend of research, data entry, data manipulation, organizational skills and logical problem-solving skills. accelHRate relies on our proprietary information to serve our clients using data & analytics for mapping, tracking and market analysis.
We are looking for an individual that understands the importance of data and the underlying challenges represented by redundant, inaccurate, or misclassified information.
Key Responsibilities
- Extensive research to identify relevant, accurate and current data to input into our proprietary database.
- Manually update, enhance and categorize data based on clear parameters.
- Run reports to test the accuracy of the data.
- Recognize trends from data collection.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding research requests.
- Recommend alternative methods to make better use of the data to directly serve our clients.
Qualifications
- Strong/advanced capabilities working with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with proprietary database environments is a plus.
- Desire to work with data and help businesses make better data-driven decisions.
- Excellent time management and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated analytical/quantitative skills.
- Exceptional communications (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to multi task and adapt to constantly changing priorities due to the ever-changing and fast-moving environment in which we operate.
