Eligibility: Graduate students or recent college graduates located in North Carolina or South Carolina, in the fields below

Preferred Majors: Agricultural Communications/Journalism, Agricultural Leadership and Education, Agricultural Media/Digital Production, Sustainable Agriculture/Organic Systems or related fields with project management skills

 

Organization Overview

AllAgConsidered, Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing agricultural education and outreach. Using accessible, high-quality digital media, such as radio, video, and social media to deliver pertinent content across agricultural science, organic and regenerative farming, forestry, and food systems.

Designed to equip educators, farmers, gardeners, and policy makers with engaging information while expanding learning access for learners across diverse backgrounds. By meeting learners where they are, including mobile and distance platforms, AllAgConsidered, Inc. strengthens agricultural literacy and builds a more informed, resilient and knowledgeable next generation of producers and consumers.

Organic Career Network (OCN) Cohort Experience

This internship is funded by the Organic Career Network (OCN), a national initiative dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders in organic agriculture. As an OCN-supported intern, participants join a select cohort of peers placed across organizations in the organic sector, gaining access to a broader professional network and shared learning experience. Interns are expected to attend four virtual cohort sessions throughout the internship, featuring facilitated discussions, guest speakers, and career-focused programming. This cohort model enhances the internship by providing structured opportunities for connection, mentorship, and deeper engagement with the organic movement.

 

Position Overview 
Under the direct supervision and guidance of an experienced farmer and agriculture educator with deep connections in organic and regenerative agriculture, this position will develop, organize, and produce five LinkedIn Live panel discussions focused on best practices, challenges, and emerging opportunities in the field.

This position requires and actively builds project management and organizational expertise while sharpening creativity and critical thinking. Interns will take ownership of real-world deliverables, collaborate with industry leaders, and translate complex agricultural topics into compelling, audience-ready content that drives engagement and impact.

A graduate student who masters both project management and media production alongside agricultural knowledge will be well positioned to lead initiatives, not just support them. This position builds the ability to move between academic research and field application, addressing a critical gap in agriculture today and preparing candidates for impactful, forward-facing roles in organic and regenerative systems.

Goal: Organize, create and produce a five-part series of expert panel discussions related to organic and regenerative farming on LinkedIn Live and/or other platforms 

 

Activities:

  • Assume a leadership role and management responsibility for the project
  • Book and prep panelists
  • Create question format in coordination with moderator
  • Master basic sound and video equipment and editing tools
  • As time permits, utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) programs to repurpose existing AllAgConsidered, Inc. content across multiple social media channels

Compensation & Qualifications: Compensation is $15 per hour for undergraduate interns and $18 for graduate interns, not to exceed a total of $2,250/undergraduate or $2,700/graduate per semester. Interns are not eligible for benefits. This internship is remote, so a reliable internet connection is required.
