Administrative Assistant-Construction Office

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support the daily administrative operations of our company. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who can manage multiple office tasks efficiently, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a productive work environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Monday thru Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.

 

  • Perform heavy filing and maintain organized office records
  • Organize office operations and assist staff in improving workflow procedures
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed
  • Resolve office-related issues and respond to administrative requests
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, customers, and colleagues
  • Provide receptionist support and answer multi-line phone systems when needed
  • Assist with general clerical and administrative duties

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience as an Office Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Back-Office Assistant, or similar role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of office management procedures and office equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills
  • Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using multi-line phone systems is a plus
