Lead Primary Teacher

Gloria Dei Montessori is a small, but diverse Montessori school in northern Dayton. Our school
is nestled on a peaceful wooded lot in a quiet residential neighborhood, and we enroll students
from 18 months through 12 years.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, flexible, credentialed primary teacher to work in a
well-equipped classroom. Applicants should be creative, industrious, and dedicated to creating
and sustaining the highest-quality educational environment for the child.
As Lead Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for all aspects of classroom life, including the
implementation of a classic Montessori program, classroom organization, outdoor education,
record-keeping, progress reports, parent interactions, providing guidance to the classroom
assistant, and attendance at school functions.

We are seeking applicants with Full Time scheduling availability for a 9-month contract. We
follow a traditional school year from mid-August to the end of May.
