Lead Toddler Teacher

Gloria Dei Montessori is a small, but diverse Montessori school in northern Dayton. Our school is nestled on a peaceful wooded lot in a quiet residential neighborhood, and we enroll students from 18 months through 12 years. We are looking for a friendly, motivated, flexible, credentialed toddler teacher to work in a well equipped classroom. Applicants should be creative, industrious, and dedicated to creating and sustaining the highest-quality educational environment for the child.

As Lead Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for all aspects of classroom life, including the implementation of a classic Montessori program, classroom organization, outdoor education, record-keeping, progress reports, parent interactions, providing guidance to the classroom assistant, and attendance at school functions.

competitive salaries dependent on experience and credentials. Employment arrangements are flexible dependent on your needs, with Full-Day or Half-Day arrangements available. We follow a traditional school year from mid-August to the end of May.

Ideal Qualifications:

MACTE approved credential preferred
Strong belief in traditional Montessori philosophy
Energetic, responsible, professional
Collaborative work ethic with excellent oral and written communication skills
Comfortable and confident in communicating with parents and caregivers
