Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to those holding a teaching certificate
- The applicant must be able to demonstrate a history of positive working relationships with students and their families
- The applicant must be knowledgeable, organized, enthusiastic and willing to invest the necessary time in the program to bring about quality
- The applicant must have the necessary mental/physical ability and stamina to successfully perform assigned responsibilities
- The applicant must successfully complete a Live Scan Criminal Records check
Responsibilities:
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coach the specific team
- Promote the program and recruit team members
- Train and monitor student academic progress and eligibility
- Supervise students, attend tournaments, and keep records (registration, attendance, schedules, etc.)
- Lead by example and exhibit professionalism at all times
- Be responsible for equipment and supplies for the specific program
- Maintain effective communication with parents and students
