SUMMARY
Directs and coordinates activities of their department by delegating or performing duties assigned to them by managers of each department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Leads and coordinates hourly associates to achieve departmental objectives and company policies as set by the manager and or president.
Confers with Managers and other personal to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
Functions as a liaison between managerial and hourly associates to resolve production issues both internally and at customer’s locations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise hourly workforce. Is responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of their department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with RAC’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting in personal placement, training associates, achieving planned performance levels, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree or three to five years directly related metal manufacturing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous knowledge in sand casting and technical processes in order to provide definitive guidance to the organization is helpful but not required.

The plant noise levels are occasionally loud and very hot in the summer months.
