Subject : Reading, Writing and Math
Grade: 6th Grade
Learning Disability: ADHD and Dysgraphia with IEP (ARD meeting still pending)
Location: Converse, TX 78109, USA
Note: Applicants must be based in or near Converse, TX (78109). Candidates residing within a 5–10 mile radius — including nearby ZIP codes such as 78219 (San Antonio), 78222 (San Antonio), and 78152 (Saint Hedwig) — are also encouraged to apply.
Job Duties:
- Assist students in targeted subject areas via individual or group tutoring
- Host workshops on selected topics
- Model and encourage collaborative study strategies
- Create and manage resources
- Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment
- Commute to students' place of residence or meet at a public location to conduct tutoring sessions
- Meet regularly with the supervisor
- Expected hours: 2 per week
Schedule:
- MT,Th and F: 4:30 PM onwards, W: 5:30 PM onwards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, English, mathematics)
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or education is highly desirable.
- Patience and the ability to work with students of diverse learning styles.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to the needs of individual students.
- Must be able to commit to schedules
- Has a personal vehicle
- Must be living in the area where classes are held
- Experience with children is preferred, but not required
License/Certification:
- Teaching Certification (Preferred)
Salary: $ 27.00 - $ 33.00 per hour
