Position Overview

TriSphere Applications is seeking a motivated and organized Volunteer Human Resources Coordinator / Recruiter to support recruitment, onboarding, and team engagement efforts across multiple departments. This individual will play a key role in helping expand our volunteer workforce while ensuring a positive onboarding experience for new team members.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on HR, recruiting, talent acquisition, and people operations experience within a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting and sourcing candidates for volunteer and internship opportunities
  • Review resumes and applications submitted through platforms such as Handshake, LinkedIn, and other recruiting channels
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and scheduling
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and department leads
  • Support onboarding processes for new volunteers and interns
  • Maintain candidate tracking and onboarding records
  • Send professional follow-up emails and onboarding communications
  • Assist with creating job postings and updating position descriptions
  • Help improve recruitment workflows and onboarding documentation
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to identify staffing needs
  • Support volunteer engagement and retention initiatives
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with candidate information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Professional written communication skills
  • Prior recruiting or HR experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience with scheduling platforms, applicant tracking systems, or onboarding tools is a bonus
