Job summary:

AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. The Corporate Communications team is seeking a motivated summer intern to support an ADA accessibility compliance initiative for our intranet. This role is ideal for a student interested in web design, front‑end development, and digital accessibility. The intern will assist with reviewing and updating underlying code to help ensure the internal platforms meet ADA and WCAG compliance standards and provide an inclusive experience for all users.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in auditing intranet pages and code for accessibility issues
  • Help implement accessibility best practices across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Support updates related to semantic markup, keyboard navigation, color contrast, and screen‑reader compatibility
  • Document fixes and learn how accessibility standards are applied in a real‑world environment

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as web design, computer science, computer information systems, digital media
  • Basic working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with front‑end web design principles and responsive design
  • Awareness of web accessibility concepts, including ADA and WCAG guidelines (coursework or self‑study acceptable)
  • Ability to review, update, and troubleshoot existing code with attention to detail
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn new tools and standards
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating with a larger team

Pay Range: $19.00-21.00

Location: Los Angeles (On-Site)

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.

Benefits: Part-time: This position is not eligible for benefits.
