CDL Truck Driver
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and committed to delivering excellent service while operating commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. This position involves transporting goods, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with loading and unloading when needed.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, managing time effectively, and adapting to changing schedules or operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and transportation records
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and transported safely
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Follow delivery schedules and route plans efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles
- Prioritize safety, professionalism, and customer service at all times
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Current DOT medical card
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather and road conditions
- Dependable with strong time management skills
- Ability to lift, move, and handle freight or materials as needed
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with local, regional, or over-the-road routes
- Forklift certification or equipment operation experience
- Hazmat, tanker, or additional endorsements (if applicable)
- Experience with flatbed, trailer, or specialized hauling
