Nursing Scholars Program – WellSpan Health

$37,500 in student loan repayment over 3 years

As a current Nursing Student, you may be eligible for an employer‑sponsored loan repayment program designed to support you through your education—whether you’re early in your program or preparing to graduate.

Through the WellSpan Scholars Program, eligible nursing students may receive up to $37,500 in student loan repayment toward the cost of their education.

You apply while enrolled in your Medical Imaging program and, if selected, you secure a guaranteed job with WellSpan Health upon successful graduation, completion of onboarding, and meeting all standard requirements for the role.

After graduation, selected Scholars transition into a full‑time RN role at one of WellSpan’s hospitals across South‑Central Pennsylvania, with a 3‑year work commitment. If plans change and you’re unable to complete the full commitment, you do not repay any loan payments already received. The program is intentionally structured to eliminate financial risk for students and future employees.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be a current Medical Imaging/Radiology student

Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA

Must have the legal right to work in the United States, or be present in the U.S. under DACA and/or Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
