Cashier
As a cashier, you are going to be responsible for:
Customer service: Greet customers, provide a welcoming atmosphere, and resolve any issues. Cashiers should use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide a positive experience that encourages customers to return.
Cash handling: Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts. Cashiers should accurately process transactions and give customers the correct change.
Inventory control: Assist with basic inventory management and restocking as needed.
Point of sale (POS): Use a POS system to process orders and take payments. Cashiers should have the skills to enter the amount owed and maintain restaurant records.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Attention to detail: Make sure that products are properly labeled with the correct price.
Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and managers to give and receive instructions, help customers, and complete workplace tasks.
