Position Overview
Rapid River Technologies is seeking motivated individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the low-voltage technology industry. This opportunity is ideal for students or individuals pursuing careers in telecommunications, security systems, networking, audio/visual technology, or related technical fields.
The Low-Voltage Systems Trainee will work alongside experienced technicians to learn installation practices, industry standards, and technical skills used in commercial and residential low-voltage environments.
Training and mentorship will be provided.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with installation of structured cabling systems
- Support setup of CCTV, access control, and audio/visual systems
- Help organize and label cables, devices, and equipment
- Assist with cable pulling, routing, and cable management
- Support network rack organization and equipment setup
- Learn basic testing and troubleshooting procedures
- Maintain clean and organized job sites and work areas
- Follow company safety standards and installation procedures
- Participate in hands-on technical training opportunities
