Fall Marketing Intern

Fall Term Focus
During the Fall term, this internship will place special emphasis on:
- Supporting passive‑income initiatives, including content and digital asset promotion
- Identifying, pursuing, and securing speaking opportunities that support brand visibility and thought leadership
What You’ll Gain Hands‑On Experience In
- Using modern marketing technology platforms, including content management systems, email automation tools, and social media scheduling platforms
- Creating and supporting social media, email, and content marketing campaigns
- Website content management, SEO fundamentals, and analytics review
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to improve marketing effectiveness and optimization
- Producing moderate‑complexity written content, including blogs, newsletters, social posts, and presentation materials
You’ll be expected to work with increasing independence, apply sound judgment, manage priorities effectively, and make recommendations for improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Website & SEO
- Publish new content to the company website
- Support SEO best practices to improve visibility and performance
Social Media
- Execute social media activities designed to drive awareness and website engagement
- Schedule, publish, and monitor content across key platforms
Opportunity Engagement
- Monitor website activity and respond to inbound inquiries in a timely, professional manner
Content Marketing
- Proofread, edit, and publish articles, blogs, and monthly newsletters
- Help develop and manage the content calendar and distribution schedule
Event & Speaking Marketing
- Support webinars, seminars, and events, including:
- Scheduling dates and coordinating logistics
- Assisting with creative materials and promotion
- Supporting registration and fulfillment activities
- Identifying speaking opportunities and drafting submission materials
Database & Data Management
- Maintain marketing and contact databases
- Update records from events, web inquiries, and returned communications
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness on an ongoing basis
Performance Management
- Monitor and report on key monthly marketing metrics
- Assist in identifying insights to improve effectiveness and optimization
Essential Knowledge and Skills
Must‑Have
- Reliable access to the internet when working offsite
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with major social and digital platforms, including:
- LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube
- WordPress or similar CMS platforms
- Canva or basic design tools
Specialized Skills
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Solid time‑management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision
