Quality Control Intern
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Intern to support our Quality Assurance team. This internship provides hands-on experience in inspecting components, ensuring product quality, and learning industry standards within a manufacturing environment.
This internship is 20-30 hours per week, on-site position located in Ocala, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with inspection of parts and materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Perform visual inspections and basic measurements using tools such as calipers and gauges
- Help document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and report non-conforming materials to the quality or production team
- Support process improvement initiatives and corrective actions
- Follow all safety procedures and company quality policies
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand quality requirements
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a high school program, technical program, or college degree (preferably in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to read or learn to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
- Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
