Student Assistant - School of Education
Job Description
Arcadia University’s School of Education (SOE) Student Assistants serve as representatives of both the University and the SOE. Student Assistants play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the main office. They are expected to be professional, reliable, and enthusiastic about assisting faculty, staff, and visitors while contributing to a welcoming and efficient office environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain the SOE Main Office as a professional and organized environment
- Greet visitors and assist in a courteous and helpful manner
- Learn and follow office procedures, including the use of equipment such as scanners and printers
- Create and edit documents as requested by faculty or staff using Google Workspace, Adobe, and other platforms
- Assist with the day-to-day upkeep of SOE classrooms, student lounge, and shared spaces
- Support SOE events, including preparation, set-up, assistance during events, and clean-up
- Contribute testimonials and student stories for communications, marketing, and social media
- Assist with managing SOE social media platforms
- Perform other duties as assigned
