Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents and the overall condition of our property and apartments. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for a variety of essential tasks throughout our community.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Troubleshoot and performing repairs on a wide range of systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, as well as appliances and light fixtures.
• Utilizing and following the maintenance work order system process.
• Preparing vacant apartments for new residents.
• Responding to resident service requests and providing reliable, timely service.
• Maintaining common areas and grounds.
• Must be available for on-call rotations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to supply your own tools.
• Must be HVAC certified or Commitment to obtain HVAC certification within 90 days of hire.
This role requires the ability to lift, climb ladders, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time. Tasks will be performed throughout the community in various locations, including the maintenance shop, clubhouse, apartments, apartment buildings, and community grounds, and in all types of weather.
