Position Overview

GETZ Transport Solutions is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to support parking and transportation operations for the 2026 FIFA Fan Festival in Houston’s EaDO District. Team members will assist with the management and operation of multiple event parking lots and transportation access points supporting VIPs, workforce personnel, volunteers, rideshare operations, and event logistics. Great for college students' home on summer break.

This is an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes of one of the world’s largest sporting events while gaining experience in event operations, transportation logistics, traffic management, and guest services.

Responsibilities

Personnel may assist with a variety of operational functions including:

  • Managing daily operations at assigned parking lots and/or garages throughout the Fan Festival footprint
  • Assisting VIPs, workforce personnel, volunteers, and authorized guests entering and exiting parking facilities
  • Supporting parking lot setup and preparation activities prior to the event
  • Assisting with installation and monitoring of temporary ingress and egress barriers
  • Monitoring lot capacity, traffic flow, and vehicle access control points
  • Supporting rideshare pickup and drop-off operations
  • Assisting with roadway and parking lot ingress/egress operations during event load-in, load-out, and daily operations
  • Communicating operational updates with supervisors, event staff, security personnel, and transportation partners
  • Helping ensure compliance with ADA accessibility requirements and transportation safety procedures
  • Providing professional customer service and directions to guests and event personnel

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-attendance event environments
  • Ability to follow operational procedures and safety guidelines
  • Previous experience in parking operations, events, security, hospitality, or traffic management is preferred but not required

Schedule

  • Flexible event-based scheduling
  • Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be available depending on assignment
