SEO Specialist

ABOUT VIRTUAL COWORKER
Virtual Coworker connects Filipino talent with SMEs across the US and Australasia. We are
well-established, but our organic search presence has not kept pace with our ambitions. That is
where you come in. We want to build real, lasting organic authority - across two markets and
two domains - and we are looking for someone who finds that genuinely exciting.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-ownership SEO role. You will work across our US (.com) and Australian (.com.au)
websites, building a cohesive organic strategy that strengthens our Google presence in both
markets. We are not looking for someone to manage a checklist - we want a person who loses
sleep over a dropped ranking, who celebrates a featured snippet, and who brings fresh ideas
every week. You will have the freedom to shape the direction, and the accountability to deliver
results. This role suits someone who treats SEO as a craft, not just a job title.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Own the SEO strategy and execution for both the .com and .com.au websites, with a clear
focus on growing organic traffic and improving rankings across both Google AU and
Google US
• Conduct thorough keyword research across US and Australian markets, mapping intent to
our service offerings
• Perform regular technical SEO audits - crawl health, indexation, structured data, site
speed, and mobile usability
• Manage and grow our backlink profile through outreach, digital PR, and relationship-
building
• Create and optimise on-page content in collaboration with our team - including meta tags,
headings, internal linking, and schema markup
• Monitor and report on organic performance across both sites using Google Search
Console, Google Analytics, and relevant SEO tools
• Stay current on Google algorithm updates and proactively adjust strategy in response
• Identify content gaps and opportunities, and build a content calendar that supports ranking
goals
• Work closely with our WordPress developer to ensure technical SEO recommendations
are implemented correctly and quickly
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Substantial hands-on SEO experience - ideally 3+ years with demonstrable results and
traffic growth you can speak to confidently

• Experience working across multiple domains or managing regional/international SEO is a
strong advantage
• Proficient with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console,
and GA4
• Strong understanding of both technical and content SEO - comfortable discussing crawl
budgets and keyword clustering in the same conversation
• A data-led mindset - you let performance guide decisions, not gut feel alone
• Intrinsic motivation and genuine accountability - you do not need to be chased for updates
or pushed to try new approaches
• Genuine passion for organic growth; someone who finds the work interesting and takes
personal pride in moving the needle
