Healthcare Marketing & Business Development Associate (Part-Time)

Title: Healthcare Marketing & Business Development Associate (Part-Time)

Company: SynchronyMD
Location: Remote (Michigan-based preferred)
Hours: 15-20 hours/week (flexible schedule)
Compensation: Starting at $15/hour, based on experience and skill set
Type: Part-Time / Internship (academic credit supported)

ABOUT SYNCHRONYMD

SynchronyMD is a physician-founded telemedicine company providing overnight hospitalist coverage (TeleNights) to rural and critical access hospitals. We're solving a real problem: small hospitals across the Midwest are losing their ability to keep patients safe overnight because they can't recruit or retain nighttime physicians. We fix that.

We currently serve hospitals in Missouri and Iowa and are actively expanding. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build something meaningful in rural healthcare.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a sharp, self-directed Marketing & Business Development Associate to help us grow. You'll split your time between two connected areas:

Marketing & Content (approximately 50%)
- Build our "Proof Library": case studies, outcome summaries, and client testimonials that demonstrate our clinical impact at partner hospitals
- Coordinate testimonial video production with hospital marketing teams
- Create and manage LinkedIn content positioning SynchronyMD as a leader in rural health innovation
- Design and refine pitch deck materials, one-pagers, and a CAH-targeted landing page
- Maintain brand consistency across website, email campaigns, and social channels

Business Development & Outreach (approximately 50%)
- Research and qualify Critical Access Hospital (CAH) targets across the Midwest
- Manage contact lists in Apollo.io and execute cold email campaigns via Instantly.ai
- Monitor campaign performance, track responses, and maintain the sales pipeline
- Schedule discovery calls and prepare background briefs on prospective hospital partners
- Research grant/funding eligibility (e.g., CMS Rural Health programs) for target hospitals

WHO YOU ARE

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or Public Health
- Strong writer who can translate complex healthcare concepts for a non-clinical audience
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working independently in a startup environment
- Interested in healthcare, telemedicine, or rural health (bonus if you have coursework or experience in any of these)
- Familiar with (or eager to learn) CRM and outreach tools like Apollo, HubSpot, or Instantly

You'll work directly with our CEO/Founder (a practicing hospitalist physician) and get real mentorship on healthcare business development - not coffee runs and filing.

We are happy to work with your university's academic department to support internship credit requirements.
