We help students develop advanced problem-solving, STEM, and critical-thinking skills through innovative educational programs.
Our programs include advanced mathematics, STEM enrichment, chess, coding, AI, physics, academic mentorship, and other enrichment programs for K–12 students.
Job Summary
DeepBrain Academy is seeking a motivated and professional Commission-Only Sales Representative to help expand awareness of our programs, generate qualified leads, build relationships with families and community partners, and support new student enrollment.
This is an independent contractor role. Compensation is 100% commission-based. There is no hourly pay, base salary, monthly retainer, or guaranteed compensation. Commission is earned only when qualifying sales or enrollments are successfully completed and paid by the client, according to the written commission agreement.
This opportunity may be well suited for individuals with experience in independent sales, community outreach, education consulting, or relationship-based business development. The ideal candidate can work independently, communicate professionally with parents and partners, and manage their own outreach and follow-up process.
Mandarin & Korean proficiency is strongly preferred. Experience in education, tutoring, enrichment programs, admissions, sales, community outreach, or business development is a plus.
Earnings are variable and depend entirely on the contractor’s individual sales performance and completed client enrollments.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Sales Representative may be responsible for:
- Identifying prospective families, students, schools, organizations, community groups, and partnership opportunities
- Conducting outreach through calls, emails, messages, referrals, community connections, events, and other appropriate sales channels
- Introducing DeepBrain Academy’s programs to prospective families and partners
- Understanding prospective clients’ needs and recommending suitable programs
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with families, parent communities, schools, organizations, and local partners
- Communicating with Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking families or partners
- Following up with leads and helping move qualified prospects through the enrollment process
- Scheduling consultations, trial classes, meetings, or program introductions when appropriate
- Supporting enrollment growth through consistent sales activity and relationship management
- Tracking leads, follow-ups, sales activity, and enrollment progress
- Sharing market feedback, parent questions, competitor information, and local growth opportunities with the DeepBrain Academy team
- Attending local community events, school visits, parent events, or business development meetings when mutually agreed
- Representing DeepBrain Academy professionally in all client and community interactions
Requirements
- Prior experience in sales, business development, admissions, education services, tutoring programs, client relations, community outreach, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfort with commission-only compensation
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s own sales pipeline
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
- Professional, reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to communicate clearly with families, students, partners, and internal team members
- Strong English communication skills required
- Mandarin and/or Korean proficiency strongly preferred
- Familiarity with local schools, parent communities, STEM education, enrichment programs, or K–12 education is a plus
- Valid driver’s license preferred for local outreach, meetings, or community events
- Basic computer skills, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM tools, spreadsheets, or similar systems
Compensation
This is a 100% commission-only independent contractor role.
The contractor will not receive hourly pay, base salary, monthly retainer, or guaranteed compensation. Compensation is earned only through qualifying sales, enrollments, or other completed revenue-generating transactions, according to the written commission agreement.
Detailed commission terms, qualification criteria, payment timing, and revenue attribution policies will be provided to selected candidates in the written independent contractor commission agreement.
No compensation will be owed for outreach activity, time spent, meetings, proposals, follow-ups, lead generation, sales efforts, or prospective clients that do not result in a qualifying completed and paid sale, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Independent Contractor Status
This role is an independent contractor opportunity. The Sales Representative will not be an employee of DeepBrain Academy.
This independent contractor role does not include employee benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, retirement benefits, or paid holidays.
The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, business expenses, transportation, equipment, tools, insurance, and method of performing services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The contractor retains discretion regarding the manner and methods of performing outreach and sales activities while maintaining professional and ethical representation of DeepBrain Academy. The contractor may provide services to other businesses or clients, provided no conflict of interest or misuse of confidential information occurs.
