The Northern Michigan University Police Department is looking for students to fill part-time parking enforcement and parking window attendant positions for the upcoming (2026-2027) school year.

Parking enforcement:  Enforce campus parking ordinances, provide motorists assists, report any suspicious or dangerous situations, assist the campus community and other activities as requested by supervisor, which may include assisting other areas of the NMU Police Department.  This position offers a flexible schedule.  Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Please attach a resume along with class schedule/desired hours per week.  Must be able to work outside under a variety of weather conditions.  All applicants will be subjected to a background investigation.   All majors are encouraged to apply.

Parking window attendant:  Assist the campus community with parking questions, operate cash register (selling parking permits, citation payments) and other activities as requested by supervisor, which may include assisting other areas of the NMU Police Department.
