Full Stack Engineer Intern
About BluePro
BluePro is an early-stage, venture backed, AI-first field service management platform helping home service businesses run smarter. We give owners the tools to efficiently manage and scale their businesses. We're small, we move fast, and we're building something our customers genuinely love.
The Role
We're looking for a software engineering intern who's hungry to learn, ships fast, and wants real ownership of meaningful work. You'll be building features that go straight into the hands of customers, working directly with the founding team, and getting a front-row seat to how an early-stage SaaS company actually gets built.
Logistics
- Compensation: $20–28/hr depending on experience
- Location: Remote-friendly
- Hours: Full-time over the summer; part-time/full-time during the semester is open to discussion for the right person
- Path to full-time: Strong performers will get a real offer (salary + stock options) at the end of the internship. This is our primary pipeline for junior engineering hires.
What you'll do
- Build and ship features across our Next.js + tRPC + Prisma stack
- Work on real customer-facing problems: scheduling, invoicing, lead reactivation, technician management, and more
- Collaborate directly with the founding team. No layers, no bureaucracy
- Lean heavily on AI tooling. We're an AI-forward team and expect everyone to leverage it
- Learn fast, ask questions, and own the work you take on
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience with Next.js, Prisma, and tRPC (or close equivalents you can ramp from quickly)
- Strong TypeScript fundamentals
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift
- Eager to learn and unafraid to dive into unfamiliar problems
- Fluent (or actively getting fluent) with AI coding tools
- Self-starter energy — you don't need to be told what to do twice
Nice to have
- PostgreSQL experience
- Exposure to payment integrations (Stripe, Finix, or similar)
- Any experience with VoIP — bonus points if you've touched Telnyx
- Side projects, open-source contributions, or anything that shows you build for fun
Our stack
- TypeScript, Node, Next.js, tRPC, Prisma, Postgres, Finix, Telnyx
