Job Summary
TKA is a Christ-centered school grounded in a Biblical worldview, and we are looking for an Academic Support Center Coordinator who is a follower of Jesus Christ and is dedicated to the school’s Christ-centered mission. There are two main priorities for this position. One is supporting the clerical aspects of the Academic Support Center and providing a secure testing site for students receiving accommodations or makeup exams. Equally important is maintaining confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism in coordination with faculty.
Essential Job Functions
Regular Activities
- Mentor a group of students by meeting daily as part of the school’s home group program
- Support ASC Director, ASC Specialists, and students towards academic success
- Ensure testing integrity and security by following testing protocols
- Proctor tests for students in the ASC/Testing Center
- Keep a list of peer and professional tutors updated for K-12 students
- Update ASC testing spreadsheet
- Coordinate testing schedules, policies, procedures, and status with teachers, Deans, and students
- Communicate student well-being and academic progress with Director or Specialists
- Manage ASC Shared Google Drive, including teacher folders and testing room documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all student information and academic records
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Test Proctor experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership qualities and mentoring skills
- Excellent skills in communicating both orally and in written form
- Able to work both independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to learn new computer software systems

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Required to use the computer throughout the day
- Work will be performed from the campus
- Will move throughout the campus during the day
- May occasionally have to lift up to 20 pounds
- Work is generally performed, Mid August-Early June, Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- The months listed are approximate, and the annual start and end date will be dictated by the school calendar and the department’s needs.

Pay Grid Range: $24.39 to $29.73
- Salary is based on a preset pay grid and determined by education and experience; Most candidates enter in the lower to middle range.
