Job Title: Multimedia & Communications Specialist
Overview: The Multimedia & Communications Specialist is responsible for a wide range of communications and administrative functions, including the development and production of engaging content for the County Clerk’s website and social media platforms, as well as the implementation of strategic marketing and public outreach initiatives. This position also supports policy and data research efforts to identify grant opportunities and potential funding sources that enhance the operations and services of the Clerk’s Office. Additionally, the Specialist assists with election administration and related departmental initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong graphic design and video production skills, exceptional creativity, and a demonstrated commitment to advancing the mission and public service goals of the County Clerk’s Office. The candidate should also be highly outgoing, confident, and enthusiastic, with a strong presence and the ability to engage effectively with the public and diverse audiences
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field required. Demonstrated proficiency in social media management and multimedia production tools, including CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, InShot, Hootsuite, Canva, and/or similar platforms. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required. Strong knowledge of current social media trends, audience engagement strategies, and platform algorithms. Experience leading and managing teams, conducting trainings, and coordinating initiatives in a collaborative environment. Prior election administration or elections-related experience preferred.

Salary Range: $65,000 (Minimum Compensation) - $85,000 (Maximum Compensation), Non-Bargaining Position
