Position Overview:As a teacher at Olivet Academy, you will serve as an educational facilitator, implementing curriculum and guiding students under the direction of the Principal. You will:

  • Teach and supervise classes following the school’s curriculum
  • Create engaging lesson plans to help students meet proficiency in curricular standards.
  • Establish and manage the classroom, with an emphasis on engaging students, keeping classes focused.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and success

Ideal Candidate:We are looking for teachers who:

  • Are fully dedicated to the mission of Olivet Academy
  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree (core subject degrees preferred for middle school)
  • Are of good moral character and health
  • Can pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting
  • Agree with our Statement of Faith, mission, philosophy, and employment policies
  • Have excellent communication skills and a commitment to student success
