Photographer
Every summer, The Park Slope Day Camp hires photographers and videographers to capture our campers in action. A successful candidate will bring an extroverted spirit and a hunger to practice their craft in a fast-paced environment.
What do you get from the PSDC experience?
Beyond honing your creative skill set, our photographers work closely with our supervisors and directors, building marketable skills including teamwork and collaboration, patience, communication, and adaptability.
In addition to producing a beautiful portfolio of work you will have fun and get to know a wonderful community of people.
Responsibilities:
- Shoot photos and video on location in Brooklyn & NYC area
- Collaborate closely with marketing team and camp leadership
- Import, organize, and curate raw media files
- Color correct images
- Creative initiative, pitch ideas, actualize projects
Experience, Qualifications and Certifications:
- Experience with Digital Photography
- Experience with Analog Photography
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
- Personable, involves campers and counselors in creation of media
- Be able to provide your own camera equipment
- A desire to expand your creative skillset
- Experience working with children

About the Park Slope Day Camp
The best of Brooklyn summer camps since 1992! The Park Slope Day Camp is a summer day camp with locations in the Park Slope, Windsor Terrace, and Carroll Gardens communities of Brooklyn. Campers enjoy the wide variety of programs that our camp offers, including our Traditional Camp, Sports Academy, Take the Stage, and Leadership Experience. Opportunities are available during the school year for staff who have completed a summer with PSDC.
