Animation Intern

LOCATION: Fully remote

TERM: Full-time (40h/week), 10 weeks, from June 15 through August 21

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, composition, and visual storytelling
  • Generalist skillset across design and animation
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback/collaboration
  • Basic knowledge of rendering workflows, exporting, and file organization
  • 2D INTERNS: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe After Effects 
  • 3D INTERNS: Proficiency in Cinema 4D and Maxon Suite for 3D animation, modeling, and rendering

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the creative team in developing 2D and/or 3D animated content across a variety of projects
  • Assist with motion graphics, animation, rendering, compositing, and asset preparation
  • Translate creative direction into polished visual executions
  • Help organize project files, renders, references, and production assets
  • Revise work based on feedback from producers, designers, and creative leads

SCOPE OF INTERNSHIP

  • Hands-on exposure to a professional creative production workflow from concept through delivery
  • Opportunity to contribute to live client projects as well as internal creative initiatives
  • Experience working across both 2D and 3D animation pipelines depending on skill set
  • Exposure to fast-paced creative problem solving, production timelines, and collaborative studio processes

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES

  • Short-form motion graphics and animated content
  • Properly organized project files and exported deliverables according to studio specifications
  • Iterative revisions based on team feedback
  • Final assets delivered in formats optimized for digital, social, or presentation use

OTHER

  • Potential animation interns must specialize in 2D (After Effects) or 3D (Cinema 4D) animation pipelines, or both. 
  • Interns will be expected to take initiative, communicate clearly, and actively contribute creatively while remaining adaptable to evolving project needs.
