Mental Health Therapist

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Community Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related clinical field. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

Requirements

• The applicant must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License is required.
• Applicant will be required to obtain an FBI DHS Fingerprint, Act 33 (Childline) and Act 34 (PA Criminal) clearances.

Job Summary

This position requires working with at-risk adolescents 12 to 18 years of age. Mental Health Therapists are responsible for the delivery of treatment to assigned clients in a residential setting in accordance with organizational policy and procedures. They are responsible for the initial development and implementation of treatment plans. The Mental Health Therapists will provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Supervision toward licensure is available
Various treatment modality trainings provided (TF-CBT and DBT), provides eligibility for certification.
Billable hours not required.
