Position Overview
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support our lead teachers in creating a positive and stimulating classroom experience for children ages 3–5. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and looking for a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions
- Encourage positive behavior and respectful interactions
- Communicate professionally with staff and families as needed
- Help with classroom setup, materials, and special activities
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Passion for early childhood education
- Patient, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a classroom setting
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
