Assignment Details
Location: Austin, TX 78753 — Onsite
Pay Range: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour on W2 (depending on experience)
Role Type: 18-month contract with possible extension and/or conversion

Work Schedule and Shift Options
Multiple shift options are available, with differentials that reward evening, night, and weekend availability.
Shifts & Differentials:
- 1st Shift — Day: Mon–Fri, start between 5:00 AM – 6:30 AM (Base rate)
- 2nd Shift — Swing: Mon–Fri, start between 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (+10% differential)
- 3rd Shift — Night: Mon–Fri, start at 10:00 PM (+13% differential)
- Weekend Day: Fri–Mon, day hours (+10% differential)
- Weekend Swing: Fri–Mon, swing hours (+18% differential)
- Weekend Night: Fri–Mon, night hours (+23% differential)
Key Responsibilities
Inventory and Auditing
- Locate, audit, and transfer kits and materials across the facility
- Conduct cycle counts to verify and maintain inventory accuracy
- Process nonconforming materials in accordance with documented procedures
Logistics Support
- Perform satellite receiving functions
- Handle material pick-up and drop-off at vendor sites using a company van or truck
System Management
- Receive parts and update inventory records in Oracle, SAP, or other inventory management systems
- Monitor and maintain shortage reports to support uninterrupted production
Manufacturing Flow
- Replenish empty line-side bins and manage stock movement to prevent excess material accumulation
Equipment Operation
- Operate powered industrial vehicles including pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead cranes
- Drive company van or truck for vendor logistics as required
Leadership and Safety
- Train other Material Coordinators as required — a meaningful leadership responsibility
- Prepare and deliver materials to cleanroom environments in compliance with all safety standards
- Adhere to all site safety protocols at all times
Problem Solving
- Recognize and resolve typical work area issues independently, without waiting for supervisory direction
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (minimum education requirement)
- 0–4 years of experience in material handling, logistics, or comparable industries such as automotive, aviation, or military
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems and day-to-day material handling processes
- Ability to follow documented business processes with consistency and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating independently within defined responsibilities
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This is an active, physical role. Candidates should be comfortable with the following:
- Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, and climbing
- Operating heavy machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes
- Driving a company van or truck for vendor logistics
- Working in cleanroom environments requiring PPE including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves
- Working in environments with elevated noise levels
- Distinguishing between colors as required for material identification
