Are you interested in building a career in financial services, wealth management, or retirement planning?

Our well-established Independent Retirement Wealth Advisory Planning firm is seeking motivated and professional Summer and Fall Interns to support our advisory and client service team. These in-person internships offer hands-on exposure to financial planning, investment research, client relationship management, and daily operations within a growing advisory practice.

These opportunities are designed for students or recent graduates interested in developing into a Financial Service Advisor role.  An internship with our firm, which has served clients for over 30 years, could be the first step toward your future career.

What You’ll Do

As a Financial Services Intern, you will work directly with advisors and support staff to assist with client servicing, planning preparation, and operational support. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting advisors with daily client and operational activities 
  • Helping prepare materials and analysis for client meetings 
  • Supporting portfolio reviews and investment research projects 
  • Reviewing and organizing client documentation and records 
  • Assisting with client follow-up communications and courtesy calls 
  • Maintaining accurate client database records 
  • Supporting compliance and administrative processes 
  • Gathering account information and preparing review summaries 
  • Assisting with reports, mailings, and special projects 
  • Learning financial planning concepts, investment strategies, and client service best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Communications, or related field
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Prior office, customer service, or internship experience is a plus 
  • Interest in pursuing future financial industry licensing
  • Previous sales experience preferred
